A notorious group of criminals continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies. But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective who is hell-bent on solving the case.

Review

With such a lot of big names, this movie surely has a lot of potential to be a big-hit movie. Well, it is actually, they hit the #1 Box Office on their opening week, but it has been all downhill from there.

Let’s start with the positives. First, Actions. Not the best Actions I’ve seen in a movie, but this one surely is enough to entertain you. Second, Point of View[s]. This movie captures the plot from different views, such as the Detective’s, the Thieves, and a lot more that you could see by yourself in the Movie. Third, Actors. Just take a look at the actors face, and you will surely recognize what have they done to your life. Star Wars, Fast and Furious, Rapper, Singer, you can see all of em’ here..

I don’t like to share the negatives, but I have to. This movie is somehow kinda boring, especially for those who loves action movies. The plot moves a bit too slow. I think if I didn’t watch this movie at the cinema, I could have easily fall asleep in the middle of the movie.

Zoe Saldana didn’t help much as one of the very little amount of chicks in the movie. Come on, these gentlemen need a couple for each of them, not only to satisfy them, but also the audiences, right? Zoe Saldana only appears on several occasion, and I can’t even remember a word she said.

The best thing about this movie is that there’s 2 characters from my all time favorite drama, “Friday Night Lights”, that appeared for some seconds on this movie. They are Gaius Charles ( Smash Williams ) and Steve Harris ( Jess’ Dad ), and yeah that’s completely personal.

To summarize my review, “Takers is just another movie of professional thieves. Nothing special, but it is enough to entertain you.”
