A Little Tips to Avoid Stress in Improving Our Life

Lately I’ve been obsessed with improving my life. I feel like my life hasn’t been good enough, and I made a long list on things I wanted to improve.

If you’re curious, things in my list includes drinking less coffee and more water, sleep earlier and wake up earlier, go to gym more often, eating more healthy food, going on a diet, etc. I also made commitments to always do daily devotions twice a day, in the morning and in the night.

The list was quite long, and I’ve been forcing myself to do all of them at once. It ended up made me depressed when I failed to do one of them, and I can tell you, doing all of them are really energy-draining and stressful.

So I learned a new tips and I want to share with you today. If you want to improve yourself, do it one step at a time. Do not force yourself to improve all areas at once, but instead choose at most 3 things and focus on improving it. Once you’re solid as rock at the 3 things, you can move on to next area.

I learned it the hard way. There’s so much day I spent in guilt and bad mood, feeling mad at myself for being so weak and can’t fulfill my commitments. But I realized trying too hard is not the answer.
